A Quick Trip to Hawaii!
Earlier this year, I won a trip for two to Kauai! Long story short, I went to a tweet-up sponsored by the tourism bureau of Kauai. The first 50 people to show up got one free drink and were entered to win the trip. I went both nights, and hula danced on the first night to get an extra entry (Gus swears that was the winning one).
We took the trip the week before Thanksgiving. Despite the fact that it rained 4.5 inches the first two days, we had a wonderful time. We sunbathed, ate good food at Roy’s and PukaDog, went ziplining (9 lines and 1 suspension bridge), visited Hanalei and just relaxed. Best of all, our flights and all but one night at the hotel were pre-paid.
